Is Michael Stevens. I’m the handsome guy in the picture. I started playing guitar at the age of 39 and I’ve been playing for about three years. That makes me about 36, since playing guitar makes you younger. My day job is as a software developer.

I want to use this site to share some of the things I’ve learned, and helpful resources I’ve found about guitar and recording. All from the perspective of someone who still knows what it is like to be a beginner.

Evil Spud Boy: The Dog

‘Evil Spud Boy’ is a name I originally came up with for my friend Tammy’s dog — a Shih Tzu. His real name is Pugsley, but I didn’t like calling him that. I felt the name ‘Evil Spud Boy’ was a much better fit. He is a quirky dog and needed a quirky name.
